Our one-of-a-kind cabin was originally purchased from a Sears & Roebuck catalog as a hunting cabin and was owned by one family until 2018. The cabin has been transformed into its original vintage classic camp décor with antique furnishings and unique vintage finds that take you back in time. With a cozy full-size bed and wood-burning stove, it’s a wonderful place to return to after exploring the great outdoors. Ideal for couples, for a romantic, relaxed, quiet getaway. Step back to the golden age of travel and enjoy a unique vacation rental experience. Cabin #1 is a recreation of the once-lost camp during the golden age of travel of the 1920s situated across our pristine property on the White River. The Great Vermont Flood of 1928 destroyed the original camps, but we have painstakingly recreated the cabin to offer a one-of-a-kind vacation rental experience. The cabin honors the 1920s era with carefully curated antique furniture and vintage décor. With a full-size bed and all the comforts of home, our cabin is ideal for couples seeking a romantic and unforgettable getaway, looking to disconnect from the outside world.
We provide our guests with the pinnacle of luxury and convenience during their stay. Our beautifully restored carriage house radiates with historic character and charm, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind before heading out to explore all that New Bedford’s Historic National Park and Whaling Museum has to offer. Our Carriage house is surrounded by the beauty of historic homes and is filled with antiques and one-of-a-kind artwork from a bygone era. Our location is also perfect for those who want to take a scenic ferry ride to Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, or Cuttyhunk Islands. Our Carriage house features a cozy full-size bed with a small sofa, providing ample space to accommodate a small child.
